The Vira Gorge is located in the canton of Ticino near the city of Lugano. It is around two kilometers long and can be reached on foot in ten minutes from the village of Vira Gambarogno. The Riale di Vira mountain stream flows through the gorge. The canyon features spectacular rock formations and crystal-clear water.
