Description

This guided high-altitude tour takes you to the Allalinhorn in the Saas Valley. You start at the Mittelallalin mountain station where you put on your gear. The high-altitude station significantly shortens the climb. You still have to cover 550 vertical metres to reach the Allalinhorn.

After crossing the ski slopes, you ascend a steep ledge to the Feejoch. From there, the route zigzags steeply up the snow slope to the summit. The descent follows the same path.

Recommended Shoes

For this tour, we recommend category C or D mountaineering boots. Category B/C can also be suitable if the boot is stiff enough and waterproof. Boots in categories A, B, and soft B/C models are unsuitable and should be strictly avoided.
