What if it's foggy or stormy on the planned day?
That's the voucher's big advantage: there is no fixed date. The recipient only books once the forecast looks good – for mountain railways, a morning glance at the webcam settles it.
Does the recipient need a Half Fare card for mountain railways?
No, the voucher works without one. Many mountain-railway tickets are much cheaper with a Half Fare or GA travelcard though – if the recipient has one, a smaller amount buys the same experience.
When are Jungfraujoch, Pilatus and co. at their quietest?
Early or late: before 10 am and after 2 pm the famous summits see far less traffic. Outside the summer holidays it stays calmer still.
Are boat trips and panoramic trains included too?
