From Interlaken: Day tour Jungfraujoch by bus and cogwheel train

Your day starts at 10:45 in the morning when you board a comfortable bus in Interlaken and are welcomed by your tour guide. From Interlaken, the bus takes you to Grindelwald. Along the way, you’ll receive interesting insights about the Jungfrau region.

Once in Grindelwald, you’ll hop on the state-of-the-art Eiger Express cable car which whisks you up to the Eigergletscher station. From there, you’ll take the Jungfrau Railway up to over 3,500 metres above sea level - the highest train station in Europe. At the Eismeer station, you’ll make a short stop to admire the stunning glacier world through a huge glass window.

After the incredible ride through the mountain massif, you’ll arrive at the top of the Jungfraujoch. Once there, you’ll be amazed by the spectacular views of the Aletsch Glacier and surrounding mountain peaks – truly breathtaking.

Next, your adventure continues with the Alpine Sensation experience tour, revealing the fascinating world of the Jungfraujoch. This includes a visit to the Sphinx observation deck, offering unparalleled views of the neighbouring countries Italy and France. Afterwards, explore the ice palace to get a glimpse inside a glacier. Be sure to dress warmly for this tour, as it stays cool or cold here throughout the year.

You’ll descend by cogwheel train via the Kleine Scheidegg down to Lauterbrunnen. In the late afternoon, the tour bus will take you back from Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken. Your tour ends at: Interlaken Parking Congress Centre.
