Description

Get your heart racing by jumping from the 90 m high platform down into the canyon. The Canyon Swing is an adventure like no other.

If you book the tour from Interlaken, you’ll meet your group and guide in Matten near Interlaken. From there, you’ll be driven to the glacier canyon in Grindelwald. If you prefer to start directly in Grindelwald, you can travel there independently and join your group at the glacier canyon. In that case, you’ll also have the option to explore the glacier canyon on your own after your jump since the ticket to enter the canyon is included.

Once at the canyon, the instructor will explain everything you need to know. After the safety briefing, you’ll get equipped and prepare for the jump. Secured with a harness around your waist, you’ll leap from the platform into the abyss of the canyon. You’ll swing at speeds up to 120 km/h past the rock walls like you’re on a giant swing.

Practical information:

  • If you want to bring someone to watch your jump, contact the activity provider after booking to check availability and discuss all further details.

Fitness for Jumping

If you have any complaints in the throat or neck area, we recommend checking your jump fitness with your doctor beforehand. We cannot provide an accurate assessment of the possible effects on your spine or neck. Your safety and health come first for us.

You wear a harness during the jump that goes high over your shoulders. The rope is attached in front of your chest. The jump is done feet first, followed by free fall until the rope catches you and you swing in the gorge.
