Bodmi Arena ski school children group lessons for beginners

The winter panorama of Switzerland is best experienced while skiing. So that you can soon ski with your whole family in the beautiful views of the higher slopes, children often need a lot of practice.

This ski course in the Bodmi Arena is perfect for learning to ski at a young age. Together with the mascot Snowli, your child learns to ski in a beautiful environment. You can choose whether your child attends classes for half days or full days. Additionally, there is the option for a supervised lunch break in the Bodmi Arena Kids Club, including meals.

Your child will be taught at the levels of the Swiss Snow League Bambini, Blue Prince/Princess, Blue King/Queen, and Blue Star.

Children:

• Suitable for kids from 3 to about 6 years
• Information about the story of Snowli
• Walking, getting up, turning
• Riding down the fall line in parallel and braking
• First direction change from the fall line

Blue Prince/Princess:

• Suitable for kids from 5 to about 12 years
• Info about the equipment
• Getting up with stair and scissors step
• Gliding and braking in snowplough
• Skiing in parallel ski position with transitions and tricks
• Snowplough turns

Blue Prince/Princess 1:

• Beginners from 6 years.
• You make your first steps in the snow in a playful way.

Blue Prince/Princess 2:

• Individuals from 6 years who have already gained some skiing experience
• 3- to 5-year-olds who have successfully completed the Bambini course
• You learn to brake on skis and maybe you will even complete your first platter lift ride.

Blue King/Queen:

• Suitable for kids from 5 to about 12 years
• Info about the safe use of transportation facilities
• Traversing and tricks
• Side-slipping
• Parallel skiing on easy waves and jumps
• Snowplough swinging on an easy blue slope

Blue Star:

• Suitable for kids from 5 to about 12 years
• Info about behaviour on slopes (FIS rules)
• Swinging in the mini-pole forest and parcours
• Riding on waves and bumps
• Switch skiing in V-position with direction change
• Snowplough swinging on a varied blue slope
