Guided snowshoe and sledding tour with cheese fondue

Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this half-day tour lets you experience the beautiful winter scenery of the Jungfrau region with snowshoeing, sledding, and a delicious cheese fondue.

At the meeting point, you’ll meet your guide. From there, you’ll be transported by shuttle and possibly an aerial cableway to the starting point. Once at the top, you’ll receive the key instructions for a safe snowshoe hike.

Your guide will lead you through the quiet and pristine winter landscape on this snowshoe hike. Along the way, a wonderful view of the Swiss Alps unfolds before you. Wearing snowshoes, you’ll trek along untouched mountain paths through alpine forests until you reach a cozy mountain restaurant.

At the mountain restaurant, you’ll recharge with fondue and mulled wine. The restaurant is located in a unique spot with views over the Swiss Alps.

After the meal, you’ll sled back down to the valley. Once you arrive at the bottom, you’ll be taken back to the meeting point.

Practical information:

• An average fitness level is required
• Not suitable for people with heart conditions or other serious illnesses
• No prior experience needed
• Good weather conditions are necessary for the outing
• The main language is English. Guides also speak at least one other language such as German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.

• High blood pressure
• Chronic ear diseases with balance issues
• Heart problems
• Epilepsy
• Increased cardiovascular risk
• Neurological disorders
• Whiplash injury
• Pregnancy

Full legal capacity and adult age:

• Minors must have a written consent from a legal guardian
• Not under the influence of any drugs, alcohol, psychotropic medication, or other substances that can impair consciousness or reaction ability.

• Insurance against illness and accidents is the participant's responsibility
• No liability for carried items such as cameras, glasses, sunglasses, etc.
• No claims, including compensation demands, against the organizer unless the accident or damage is due to deliberate intent or gross negligence by the organizer.
