Reservation and ticketing systems

In addition to listing and digitising all Swiss leisure products, one of Swiss Activities' central goals is to simplify and automate the resale process for leisure products in Switzerland and abroad. The sales landscape is becoming ever more complex, and we help resellers stay connected to their customer segments. That makes the direct connection between our leisure partners and Swiss Activities all the more important. We are continuously implementing new systems. If your reservation and ticketing system isn't listed, feel free to get in touch with us at [email protected].

I don't work with a reservation system. Can I still sell my activities through Swiss Activities?

Even if you don't work with a reservation system, you can list your activities with us. In this case, we'll manually create a calendar based on your details. If you'd like to implement a reservation system, please get in touch with us. We'll be happy to advise you on this topic. The information we need from you is as follows:

  • Period (date)
  • Start time(s)
  • Duration
  • Cut-off (how far in advance does the customer need to book at the latest?)
  • Prices per category (adults, children, rental etc.)
  • maximum available places per slot
What information is shared when a booking is made?

When a customer makes a booking with Swiss Activities, they receive a confirmation email with all the important information. This includes your contact details, among other things, so they can get in touch with you directly if they have any questions.

  • Name of the activity
  • Date
  • Time
  • Meeting point
  • Number of tickets booked
  • Your contact details (email and phone)
Are the same prices published for my activities on Swiss Activities as on my website?

Yes, with us the customer pays the same as if they were booking directly with you. This is just as important for you as it is for us. If prices differ from place to place, the customer will notice, which leads to complaints and confusion. That way, we both run the risk of losing a returning customer.

What is the cancellation period at Swiss Activities?

Customers booking with Swiss Activities can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the activity. If you'd like to list a non-cancellable activity, we can set it up that way. However, our experience shows that we generate more bookings for activities that offer the option to cancel. If you need to cancel a booking, you can do so as well. In that case, inform the customer immediately and let us know too, so we can arrange a refund.

How are retroactive cancellations handled?

If we receive a request for a retroactive cancellation via our cancellation form, we never issue a refund without consulting you first. To prevent fraud, we always obtain your consent to confirm the customer's account of events. We only issue a retroactive refund once we have your OK.

Publishing process for leisure products

How can I list my offers on Swiss Activities?

If you'd like to become a leisure partner of Swiss Activities and list your offers, here are the steps to follow:

  • First, register as a leisure partner.
  • Fill out a form for each activity you'd like to list. You'll receive the link once we've confirmed your registration.
  • We usually write up and add your activities within two weeks.
  • As soon as the activities are live, we'll let you know by email.
What information is needed to publish my activities?

Once you've registered with us as a leisure partner, we'll send you a form where you can enter your activities. To publish them, we need the following information from you:

  • Details of your reservation system (if applicable)
  • Title of the activity
  • Link to the activity
  • At least 4 photos per activity
  • Details on dates, times and duration if you don't use a reservation system
  • Any information on age, languages, weight, etc.
  • Suitability of the activity: dogs, prams, wheelchairs, families, etc.
  • Exact meeting point
Can I delete my listing at any time?

Yes, you can withdraw from the contract at any time. There is no minimum contract period and cancelling won't cost you anything.

What do I do if I want to change something in an activity?

If you'd like to make changes to the content or adjust prices - provided you don't use a reservation system - you can let us know by email.

How do I contact the customer?

After every booking, you'll receive a confirmation email from us with the customer's details. There you'll find their name, email address and phone number so you can contact them.

How do I receive my money?

All outstanding amounts are paid out after the service date and transferred automatically at the beginning of the following month. All bookings that took place in the past month are settled together and combined into a single payout.
