Description
A drive over the Brünig Pass takes you into the Bernese Oberland to Interlaken in the Jungfrau region. After a short stop, you continue to Grindelwald, a popular destination for active holidays. You have 3.5 hours of free time there to explore the mountain village at your own pace.
Start by strolling through Grindelwald and enjoy the impressive Alpine scenery. If you want to get even closer to the mountain backdrop, a visit to Grindelwald-First is worth it.
Thrilling excitement awaits you on the "Tissot First Cliff Walk." This platform juts out 45 m into nothingness. Take the cable car to Grindelwald-First, also known as the "Top of Adventure."
You continue by bus to Lauterbrunnen, a village nestled between high cliffs and waterfalls. The Lauterbrunnen Valley, with its 72 waterfalls, inspired writers like Goethe and J.R.R. Tolkien.
The village features picturesque streets and the impressive Staubbach Falls, the third highest waterfalls in Switzerland. In the afternoon, the return trip to Zurich begins, accompanied by fresh mountain air and many memories.
