Ticket for the Illuminarium Digital Art Show “Art x Electronica”

In the courtyard of the Swiss National Museum in Zurich, the abstract geometric works of Swiss artist Paul Klee come to life. Shapes start to dance, colours pulse to the beat and figures from his paintings rise up from the canvas on a gigantic scale.

The artist collective PROJEKTIL combines the rhythmic structure of Klee’s works with driving electronic sounds. Video mapping on the historic architecture, lasers and disco balls transform the entire courtyard into a glowing spectacle.

Playful illusions blur the boundaries between seeing and dreaming.

There are several ways to spend time in the courtyard’s freely accessible areas before or after the light show. You can grab a bite at the Food Corner, where various stalls around fire bowls serve hot meals, sweet snacks and hot drinks. For a cosy meal with your group, head to the heated Fondue Chalet in the courtyard for cheese fondue, wine and desserts.

Tip: With the evening ticket, you can see all three light shows that evening for CHF 23.90 (adults) – cheaper than buying individual tickets from the second show onwards.
