Description
Your bus ride starts in Zurich and takes you through the Bernese Oberland to Interlaken. From there, you continue to Lauterbrunnen and then take the cable car up to the Schilthorn. The Schilthorn is also famous for the revolving restaurant Piz Gloria, featured in the movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".
At the Schilthorn, you can visit the viewpoint and the Thrill Walk at the Birg mid-station. Afterwards, you have free time to explore Interlaken.
Swiss activity tip
The revolving restaurant Piz Gloria rotates on two levels and has more than 400 seats. It was built for the film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." On one side, you get a view of the towering Alps featuring the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. On the other, you overlook Lake Thun and the picturesque Swiss Plateau. One full rotation takes 45 minutes.
