Description
This ticket grants you access to the ParcAlpin Ropes Course in S-chanf. You’ll find six courses with varying demands and elements including bridges, rope sections, ziplines, and creative obstacles in the forest.
For children from 4 years old, there is the Marmot course featuring bridges, cairns, a marmot hole, and a zipline. After that, more courses follow with greater heights and new challenges. The Deer course includes a hunting lodge and a round rope bridge. The Spider course finishes with an independent rappel.
From 8 years old, the Chamois and Bearded Vulture courses are added. These require balance, skill, strength, and feature ziplines among old larches. The Ibex course demands climbing skills. ParcAlpin offers fitting challenges for various age groups.
Courses
Marmot Course
Designed for children aged 4 and above up to a maximum of 30 kg, this course runs at a height of 1 to 2 metres above the ground. With short bridges, small obstacles, and a zipline about 20 metres long, it’s perfect for first climbing experiences in the ropes course.
Deer Course
Starting at 6 years old and ranging from 3 to 5 metres in height, this course especially trains balance. Highlights include the authentic hunting lodge "Chamonna Alpina" and the round rope bridge, before finishing with two ziplines approximately 50 metres long.
Spider Course
Also from 6 years old, the Spider course is known to be particularly challenging and surprises with demanding elements shortly after the start. At the end, a large spider web awaits before an independent rappel from chosen height back down to the ground.
Chamois Course
Starting at 8 years old and ranging from 4 to 6 metres in height, this course combines balance, dexterity, and strength. Inspired by the chamois’ natural habitat, it aims to encourage discovering nature later on.
Bearded Vulture Course
Also from 8 years old, this course features multiple ziplines through old larches up to 12 metres high. A zipline over 100 metres long and a jump from the "nest" of the bearded vulture provide spectacular highlights.
Ibex Course
For climbers aged 10 and above, the Ibex course is geared towards athletic climbers and demands climbing skills from the start. Inspired by the sure-footed ibex, it features particularly challenging elements at a lofty height.
