Description
With this digital scavenger hunt, you’ll discover Zurich using the myCityHunt app. The route takes you through the old town and to well-known spots around the city. Along the way, you solve puzzles, answer questions, and collect points.
You’ll explore landmarks like the Grossmünster, Fraumünster, St. Peter, and Zurich’s town hall. Each stop features challenges related directly to the city and your surroundings. This way, you combine city exploration with puzzle fun and a friendly competition.
At the start, you pick a game leader and choose roles with their own tasks. The app guides you from station to station using GPS navigation. After the game ends, you see your ranking and find your pictures in the private gallery.
Procedure
- For the scavenger hunt in Zurich, you meet up as a group at St. Peterhofstatt.
- The app guides you to the first station.
- The game leader starts the tour with the tickets.
- All players join via a QR code on the game leader's phone.
- Each player joins an available team and picks a role.
- The first challenge is to take a team photo and come up with a team name.
- Once you've solved all the puzzles or completed the tour, the app leads you back to the starting point.
- You can find the photos afterwards in a private gallery.
