With your ticket, you can explore all the exhibition areas at Barryland in Martigny. You'll learn where Saint Bernards come from, how they were used on the Great St Bernard Pass, and how they live today.
The tour is designed for you to explore at your own pace. Thanks to modern scenography and spacious indoor and outdoor areas, you'll enjoy a comfortable and smooth visit that takes the dogs' wellbeing into account. Throughout your entire visit, you can watch the Saint Bernards and follow grooming and activity demonstrations. You also have the chance to discover interactive stations, enjoy immersive experiences, and capture your visit at the photo spot.
Five themed worlds showcase the dogs' character, history, fame, and daily life through multimedia installations. They're called: Saint Bernards as Rescuer, Player, Star, Enjoyer, and Friend. You can combine the tour with breaks in the outdoor area and a visit to the café or shop.
At set times each day, you can watch various activities including:
- Dog activities and grooming
- Hydrotherapy for the dogs
- Feeding the dogs
Travelling with a wheelchair or stroller
- Barryland is fully accessible without barriers
- Reserved parking spots close by with easy access
- Accessible toilets in the main building and the restaurant
- A wheelchair can be borrowed at the reception (subject to availability)
Guide Dogs/Assistance Dogs
- You are welcome anywhere on the park grounds, except on the first floor where the dog kennels are located.
- Try to avoid contact with the Saint Bernards as much as possible.
