Description

Your child will be placed in a suitable beginner group based on their ability. Have they already ridden on the magic carpet or are they standing on skis for the very first time? The children learn in small groups in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The dedicated Eisbären instructors are always on hand.

Level

This course is aimed at young skiers at Levels 1 to 2:

Level 1: Complete Beginner: No prior knowledge required – everyone starts somewhere. With patience and the right guidance, you'll learn the basics of skiing.

Level 2: Advanced Beginner: You are familiar with the magic carpet and the tow lift, and you can already somewhat control your speed and direction on practice slopes.

Important information
  • Maximum 4 children per instructor; during peak weeks, up to 6 children with an instructor and an additional assistant instructor
  • Bring along: ski pass (left pocket), sun cream and lip balm, goggles with sufficient UV protection, money for a drink, chocolate, etc.
  • Wear: suitable clothing and gloves, a helmet, properly fitting skis and ski boots
  • A full-day option with a hot lunch and afternoon programme (with Petit Verbier) is available on request directly from the provider
  • Lessons are held in English
  • If your child is the only one in the group, the lesson lasts just 2 hours
  • Children must be able to use the toilet independently; inform the ski school in advance about any medical conditions
  • If you pick up your child more than 15 minutes after the course ends, the provider will charge CHF 50 per half-hour
