Barberine Gorge
The Barberine torrent has its source in Lac d'Emosson in Switzerland. It runs in the border area between Switzerland and France near the Mont Blanc region. The Barbarine gorge in the Trient Valley is popular with canyoning beginners. The Trient Valley, also known as the Vallée du Trient, is located in Valais and connects Martigny with Chamonix in France. It is known for its untouched nature, wild gorges and impressive glacier landscapes. The villages of Vernayaz, Les Marécottes and Salvan are located near the Trient Valley. You can go hiking around the gorge.
