Description
This private hike takes you from Mülenen up to the Niesen at 2362 m above sea level. The distinctive pyramid-shaped mountain rises above Lake Thun and is one of the well-known viewpoints in the Bernese Oberland. You'll be accompanied by a Swiss triathlete and experience a consistently steep climb through forest and alpine terrain.
As you gain altitude, the views open up over Lake Thun, Interlaken, and the surrounding mountains. The upper part of the route passes through more open terrain until you reach the summit. There, you'll be treated to a panoramic view and a mountain restaurant for a break.
The tour is private and tailored to your pace, conditions, and mountain experience. Optionally, you can use the Niesen funicular for part of the ascent or descent, provided it is operating.
