From Interlaken: Private ascent of Augstmatthorn with a Swiss triathlete

This private hike takes you from Interlaken through forest trails to the Hardergrat and then up to the Augstmatthorn. As you gain height, the terrain opens up and the ridge runs exposed high above Lake Brienz.

Along the way, you'll see the Bernese Alps, the Jungfrau region, Interlaken, Brienz, as well as other valleys and peaks. The section along the Hardergrat shapes the tour with narrow passages and wide mountain panoramas.

The Augstmatthorn is known for its protected ibex population. Along the ridge and during the descent, you can observe alpine ibexes in their natural habitat.
