Description
In this puzzle adventure, you and your team move individually through the Old Town of Geneva. You receive clues on your smartphone, encounter exciting challenges, and explore the city's varied landmarks.
The goal is to crack the secret code together and prevent the criminal from accessing the residents' data. The route is freely selectable.
The criminal's message is:
- An employee of the City of Geneva has downloaded his malware. This gives the criminal access to all resident data of Geneva!
- He wants to sell this data to shady customers, who could then spam residents with payment demands for purchases they never made or use it for further criminal activities.
- The malware installation can only be stopped with a secret code.
You start the timer, solve the puzzles at different locations through teamwork, and chat with the deranged criminal. You cooperate as a team and solve the individual puzzles together.
Along the way, you visit the Reformation Monument in Parc des Bastions and the historic lanes of the Old Town. You move around Saint-Pierre Cathedral and Maison Tavel, including the adjacent l’Ancien Arsenal.
You also visit the Flower Clock (l’horloge fleurie) on the shores of Lake Geneva and the Brunswick Monument near Quai du Mont Blanc with the Sissi Memorial. You'll reach the small islands in the Rhône and the Plaine de Plainpalais with its huge skate park. Here, the criminal challenges you with puzzles.
You can visit the puzzle locations in any order you like. Together, you decide on the fastest route and the best strategy. The total distance is about 3.5 km. At the end, you piece together the collected puzzle pieces to find the solution.
