Digital treasure hunt in Lucerne

In this scavenger hunt, you and your team explore Lucerne on your own. The route takes you through the city over nearly 4 km, connecting well-known sights with puzzles, tasks, and local knowledge.

Along the way, you’ll pass places like the Chapel Bridge, the Lion Monument, the Spreuer Bridge, and the Musegg Wall. The Jesuit Church of St. Francis Xavier can also be part of the route from the outside.

At the start, each player joins a team and picks a role. Then the app guides you with map navigation to the stations where you solve puzzles and collect points for the team’s high score.

• At the scavenger hunt in Lucerne, your group meets at Theaterplatz.
• The app guides you to the first station.
• The game master starts the tour with the tickets.
• All players join via a QR code on the game master's phone.
• Each player joins a free team and chooses a role.
• The first task is to take a team photo and come up with a team name.
• When you've solved all the puzzles or finished the tour, the app takes you back to the starting point.
• You can find the photos afterwards in a private gallery.

• Suitable for: wheelchair users, strollers
• The game can basically be played in the dark, although some inscriptions may be harder to see.
• Dogs (without a ticket) are welcome

• Minimum age: 8 years
• Requires a smartphone with internet access and the myCityHunt app installed.
• Players from the USA cannot download the app as it is unavailable there. Therefore, this game is not suitable for residents of the USA.
• After booking, enter the provided code in the app to start the game.
• The code is valid for 3 years from the booking date.
