Description
This digital scavenger hunt takes you through Basel, combining city exploration with puzzles. You visit famous spots and solve challenges along the way with your team, discovering the city from a playful perspective.
Possible stops include Basel Minster, the Middle Bridge, Basel Town Hall, and the Spalentor gate. At several locations, puzzles, questions, and creative tasks await you. Every challenge you complete earns points for your team.
At the start, each player picks a role. Then the app guides you from stop to stop using map navigation. In the end, the leaderboard shows how your team scored. The route covers about 4.2 km.
Procedure
- The tour starts and ends at Barfüsserplatz
- The game leader begins the tour with the tickets
- All players join via a QR code on the game leader's phone
- Each player joins a free team and selects a role
- The first task is a team photo and creating a team name
- Once you have solved all the puzzles or finished the tour, the app guides you back to the starting point
- You can then find the photos in a private gallery
Practical Information
- A ticket is required for pro players.
- Suitable for: wheelchair users, stroller users
- The game can basically be played in the dark as well, although some inscriptions may be harder to see.
- Dogs (without ticket) are welcome
