Swiss Activities Tip
If you stay longer in the region of Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, a visit to the St. Beatus Caves is well worth it. Embark on an adventure on the mountain slopes of the area. The widely known stalactite caves are best explored on a guided tour. However, there is also the option to discover certain parts of the caves on your own.
Traveling with a wheelchair
- The motor ship (MS) Interlaken is not wheelchair accessible.
- All other ships on Lake Brienz feature accessible main decks including wheelchair-friendly toilets.
- The piers are designed to be barrier-free.
Out and about with the dog
- Carrying small dogs up to 30 cm is free of charge if they remain in a transport container for the entire journey.
- Dogs without a container and all dogs over 30 cm shoulder height require a valid dog ticket at half the price of second class, but no more than CHF 10.00 (dog day pass).
- The dog day pass and the SBB dog GA are valid on all ship cruises.
- Dogs are allowed both inside the ship and in the ship's restaurant.
