Swiss Activity Tip
And with a bit of planning, you have the opportunity to travel on one of the historic steamships "Blüemlisalp" on Lake Thun from Thun or "Lötschberg" on Lake Brienz from Interlaken Ost. Typically, the steamships operate in summer around midday.
A very beautiful walk can be taken from Iseltwald to Giessbach along the shoreline. Here, the water is especially turquoise and stunning in good weather. The path is mostly flat but not suitable for strollers.

The 6:10 pm boat from Interlaken Ost to Thun on 08.08.2022 was cancelled due to a technical issue. We travelled by train instead...

Great offer! A really lovely day. Unfortunately, the staff on the ship didn’t know what it was because their device couldn’t scan this QR code. There were intense arguments with the first inspector... like... anyone can come and say... or... anyone can download this from the internet... That wasn’t nice, especially in front of everyone else. On our request, he then asked the other employees. A woman in management was able to help. That way, we were able to explain this ticket to all the other inspectors.
