Wine Walks in Chablais Vineyards for Private Groups

As a private group, you're going on a walk through the vineyards of Chablais. A certified guide will lead you approximately two kilometres along the paths through the vineyards and villages.

Your guide will share with you the history of the vineyard and the families who have built it. He will also talk about their daily work.

At a family-owned winery, you'll participate in a wine tasting (cost not included). For children, fruit juice will be available.

• Bring: hat, sunscreen, rain gear, sports shoes, sunglasses, warm clothing, water bottle

The vineyards of Chablais are situated between Aigle, Bex, and Yvorne in eastern Vaud. Steep slopes and sunny terraces characterize the landscape along the Rhône Valley.

The soils are composed of limestone and shale, providing ideal conditions for full-bodied wines. Typical varieties for Chablais include Chasselas, Pinot Noir, and distinctive specialities.
