Val di Gei is a wild, romantic side valley of the Maggia Valley in the canton of Ticino. It captivates with its steep rock faces, emerald-green pools, and the clear water of the Gei stream carving its way through narrow gorges. Hiking trails and paths wind through untouched nature, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. The valley is especially popular with canyoning enthusiasts: jumps into crystal-clear basins, natural rock slides, and technically exciting abseiling spots provide an unforgettable adventure. Due to varying water levels, canyoning in Val di Gei is only recommended with experienced guides.
