Description
This canyoning tour in Val di Gei in the Maggia Valley is designed for advanced enthusiasts who have completed several canyoning trips. The gorge is continuously vertical, offering many spots for abseiling, jumping, and sliding, with only short stretches of walking.
Right at the start, there’s an optional 12m slide. Further on, you'll find jumps, slides, and distinctive abseil points. Towards the end, the abseils get longer, including an independent abseil of up to 45m, giving this tour its challenging character.
The Val di Gei canyon lies next to Val Grande; both streams end in Gordevio. Val Grande is slightly less demanding and serves as a good preparation for this tour. This offer is ideal if you have abseiling experience and are physically fit.
