Description
This canyoning tour takes you through the Iragna Inferiore in Riviera. The gorge is challenging and designed for sporty participants who enjoy thrilling sections. You'll experience emerald-green pools, bright gneiss rock, tall waterfalls, as well as many slides and optional jumps.
After the climb along the edge of the gorge, the tour starts right away with a tall waterfall. Some of the highlight spots include a rappel of up to 40 m and a narrow slide of 15 m. This way, you'll enjoy an intense canyoning experience with varied water sections.
Canyoning equipment
- Hypoallergenic neoprene suit (2-piece; pants and jacket) with hood
- Canyoning shoes and hypoallergenic neoprene socks
- Canyoning harness and two self-belays with screwgate carabiners
- Helmet tested for rock impact resistance
What you should bring
- Swimwear (swimming trunks, swimsuit, bikini)
- Towel
- For the climb and in colder temperatures or if you generally feel cold, feel free to wear tight-fitting functional underwear, ski underwear, or similar that you can also wear under the wetsuit. IMPORTANT: It should be made of synthetic fiber or merino wool (not cotton, as that tends to cool rather than warm).
- Change of clothes for after the tour
- Any medication you may need (asthma spray, allergy medicine, etc.)
- Food and drinks for before and after
- Sunscreen (waterproof)
