Description

This canyoning tour in Val Grande is designed for sporty beginners and repeaters looking to take the next step. You'll experience a long gorge with white granite rock, glowing pools, waterfalls, and many playful sections.

Within the canyon, you'll continuously alternate between slides, optional jumps, and abseiling points. The 24-meter high waterfall and several rope-slide combinations are especially striking. Additionally, there are narrow passages and impressive rock landscapes right in the heart of the Valle Maggia.

Val Grande is considered a tour of moderate difficulty and is the easiest option among the more challenging tours. This way, you'll enjoy a varied gorge full of nature without any waiting times.

Swiss Activities Tip

Some of the jumps in this diverse canyon can even be repeated! The 25-meter-high waterfall you'll rappel down is nicknamed "Little Niagara" by the locals.
