Easy snowshoe tour to the Wetterhorn

You’ll be heading from Interlaken to Grindelwald, the starting point for the snowshoe hike. Once in Grindelwald, you'll trek with snowshoes for about 2 to 2.5 hours through the mountain terrain. The snowshoes make walking significantly easier. Along the way, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Wetterhorn, the upper Grindelwald Glacier, the First ski area, and the Schynige Platte.

At the Ischboden mountain hut, you’ll have the chance to visit the Alpine Bird Park. The view of the Eiger North Face is truly impressive. The tour ends at the Wetterhorn parking lot, after which you'll be driven back to Interlaken.

Practical Information:

• Bring along: ski gloves, ski or winter hiking pants and jacket, camera, drinks, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
• If you're traveling from afar, let the organizer know after booking. It’s important in case any weather-related cancellations or rescheduling are necessary.
• If you want to start the tour directly in Grindelwald, please contact the provider after booking.
• The main language is English. The guides also speak at least one other language, such as German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.
