Ticino Rafting Family Tour from Cresciano to Arbedo

This Rafting Family Tour takes you on the Ticino River from Cresciano to Arbedo. The river offers clear water, calm stretches, and gentle rapids. Along the way, you experience the Ticino mountain scenery from the water.

The raft is large and stable, steered by a guide. This tour is ideal for families, larger groups, school classes, and clubs. During the ride, you can paddle, swim, and enjoy the river sections.

After an introduction, equipment handover, and safety briefing, you walk down to the river. Your clothes and valuables will be transported to the endpoint in Arbedo and returned to you upon arrival.

Route:

• 8 km from Cresciano to Arbedo

• Required: basic swimming skills and good overall health
• No special fitness level needed
• If wearing a wetsuit, you can wear tight-fitting synthetic fibre or merino functional underwear underneath. Cotton is not suitable under the wetsuit.
• Glasses or contact lenses are allowed; recommended are a strap for glasses and a waterproof case
• Remove jewelry and piercings before the tour
• The river is about a 5-minute walk from the base

• Minimum age: approx. 6 years old when accompanied by adults
• Runs with a minimum of 4 people
• Bring: swimwear, towel, change of clothes, any necessary medication, waterproof sunscreen
• Start time and conditions may be adjusted due to weather
• Use your own vehicle to get to the starting point and back.
