Giumaglio Canyoning Pro for Advanced from Giumaglio

This canyoning tour takes you to Giumaglio in the Maggia Valley. The gorge is located in the heart of Valle Maggia and features emerald-green pools, wide stretches of water, and varied passages.

In the canyon, you'll encounter jumps, high abseils, and views over the Valle Maggia. The tour combines water, rock, and movement in a challenging gorge.

Giumaglio is perfect for an intense canyoning experience with several technical sections. Abseiling experience is necessary, and canyoning experience is beneficial.

• Hypoallergenic neoprene suit (2-piece; pants and jacket) with hood
• Canyoning shoes and hypoallergenic neoprene socks
• Canyoning harness and two self-locking devices with screwgate carabiners
• Rockfall-certified helmet

• Swimwear (swim trunks, swimsuit, bikini)
• Towel
• For the ascent and colder temperatures or if you generally feel cold, you can wear close-fitting functional base layers, ski underwear or similar that you can also wear under the wetsuit. IMPORTANT: It should be made of synthetic fibers or merino wool (not cotton, as it cools rather than warms).
• Change of clothes for after the tour
• Any necessary medication for you (asthma spray, allergy medicine, etc.)
• Food/drinks for before/after
• Sunscreen (waterproof)

• Glasses or contact lenses are possible; a glasses strap and waterproof case are recommended
