Davos paragliding tandem half day

Before the launch, the paraglider pilot will explain to you what you have to do. After a few quick steps you will take off together and you can enjoy the peace and the view of the landscape around Davos.

Children are welcome. For children under 12 years it is recommended to clarify exactly why they want to fly. It is a personal concern of the pilot that every child has a positive perception of the experience.

You can expect a half day with your private paragliding pilot and one longer or two shorter paragliding tandem flights from Davos!

Meeting point: Davos Platz.

You meet your pilot right next to the Jakobshorn valley station at Davos Platz train station.

Preparation: Introduction.

You will be introduced to the upcoming flight by your guide.

You drive: to the starting point.

Together with your paraglider pilot you take the cable car to the starting point.

You take off: with the paraglider.

After a few steps at jogging speed, you are carried through the air with your tandem partner.

You enjoy: the bird's eye view of the mountain landscape around Davos. The paraglider pilot sits behind you and takes care of everything. Either you make one long flight or two shorter flights. If you want, you can take the controls yourself. If necessary, you can fly maneuvers with higher speed and more dynamics.

Return: to the starting point.

After the flight you will be dropped off in Davos.

Practical information:

• The flight can only take place in moderate wind conditions and dry weather
• For passengers weighing more than 110 kilograms, older passengers over 65 years or people with slight health restrictions, the take-off can be a challenge.
• Good shoes and warm clothes can be borrowed free of charge
• Personal belongings and valuables can be deposited in the flight office
• Public parking in the parking lot at the Jakobshorn valley station

Did you know that the history of paragliding dates back to 1948? Back then, a NASA scientist developed the first paragliders out of dirty cloth. Today's high-tech paragliders are much safer and also faster than back then. Their speed range is about 22 to 55 km/h.
