Experience a round trip on Lake Uri, the southernmost basin of Lake Lucerne, aboard the Quatagis boat to significant natural and historical sites. You'll see the Risleten Gorge near Beckenried, where waterfalls plunge over steep cliffs into the lake.
You’ll pass the historic House zur Treib, which has played a role in Swiss history for centuries. Other highlights include the Schillerstein, a natural monument honoring Friedrich Schiller, and the Rütli Meadow, symbolically considered the birthplace of the Swiss Confederation in 1291.
Especially impressive is the Teufelsmünster, with rock walls rising as much as 400 meters directly from the lake. The trip ends in the village of Bauen, known for its mild climate, Mediterranean atmosphere, and as the birthplace of Alberich Zwyssig, composer of the Swiss national anthem.
