Iragna Gorge Canyoning for experts full day from Riviera

This canyoning tour in the Iragna Canyon is designed for skilled and experienced participants. You will traverse the Iragna intermedio and Iragna inferiore sections, experiencing a long, intense gorge with emerald-green pools, white gneiss, and crystal-clear water.

Along the way, you’ll encounter high waterfalls, natural slides, narrow passages, and many optional jumps. The gorge is stunningly scenic and challenges you throughout with a variety of obstacles.

This tour is intended for experienced canyoning participants, as there are no easy exits after the initial entry. If you’re athletic, comfortable with heights, and already have canyoning experience, you'll enjoy a particularly intense exploration of the Iragna Canyon here.

Practical information:

• Remove jewelry and piercings before the tour
• Avoid wearing cotton fabrics
• Spectacle wearers: use contact lenses or a glasses strap, and a waterproof case

• Hypoallergenic neoprene wetsuit (2-piece; pants and jacket) with hood
• Canyoning shoes and hypoallergenic neoprene socks
• Canyoning harness and two self-locking safety devices with screw-lock carabiners
• Impact-resistant helmet

• Swimwear (swimming trunks, swimsuit, bikini) + towel
• For the ascent and in colder temperatures or if you generally feel cold, feel free to wear close-fitting functional underwear
• Ski underwear or similar that you can also wear under the wetsuit. IMPORTANT: It should be made of synthetic fibers or merino wool (not cotton, as this cools rather than warms).
• Change of clothes for after the tour
• Any necessary medication for you (asthma spray, allergy medication, etc.)
• Food/drinks for before/after
• Sunscreen (water-resistant)

• Minimum age: around 16 years when accompanied by adults
• Minimum of 2 participants required
• Good physical condition necessary
• Not suitable for those with back or joint problems
• Required: abseiling experience
