Description
The self-guided tour starts with a ride on the BergJet cable car from Tannenboden to the Maschgenkamm. At the Maschgenkamm panoramic restaurant, you’ll get an appetizer.
From Maschgenkamm, you’ll hike to Prodkamm. At the Prodkamm mountain inn, you’ll enjoy the main course before taking the chairlift up to Prodalp.
Now, you’ll hike towards Chrüz. At the Chrüz mountain restaurant, you’ll have the dessert for your three-course meal. For the last 200 meters in altitude, you can either take the FLOOMZER toboggan run or the Chrüz chairlift.
The total hiking distance is 3.8 km.
Practical Information:
Please inform the organizer of any food intolerances or allergies in advance. Good footwear and sporty clothing are recommended. Due to the volume of guests, outdoor seating in the restaurants cannot be guaranteed.
Menu selection in the restaurants
Appetizer at the Panoramic Restaurant Maschgenkamm:
- Cheese platter with local delights from the surrounding Alps and Swiss favorites
Main Course at the Mountain Inn Prodkamm:
- Paccheri Puttanesca with tomato sauce, capers, and olives (vegan)
- Agnolotti stuffed with blue potatoes and bacon, served with brown butter
Dessert at the Mountain Restaurant Chrüz:
- Toggenburg Schlorzifladen with cream
Arrival at Tannenboden
- Travel by car: from Flums, take the winding road to Tannenboden for about 20 minutes.
- Paid parking available in Tannenboden.
- Arriving by public transport: The valley station of the 8-person gondola SeeJet is right next to the train station in Unterterzen, which takes you to Tannenboden in 2 sections.
