Wine Hiking Tours of the Côtes de l’Orbe Vineyards for Private Groups

As a private group, you embark on a hike through the vineyards of the Côtes de l’Orbe. A certified guide will lead you approximately two kilometres along the paths through the vineyards and villages.

Your guide will tell you about the history of the vineyard and the families who built it up. He will also talk about their daily work.

At a family-run winery, you'll participate in a wine tasting (costs not included). Fruit juice will be available for children.

The vineyards of the Côte de l’Orbe are situated between Orbe and Yverdon-les-Bains in the Swiss Jura hinterland. Gentle hills, fields, and small villages shape this rural wine region.

The climate is more continental than at the lake, with warm summers and cool nights. The main varieties cultivated are Pinot Noir, Gamay, and hearty white wines.
