Wine Hiking Tour of La Côte Vineyards for Private Groups

You undertake a hike as a private group through the vineyards of La Côte. A certified guide leads you approximately two kilometres along the paths through the vineyards and villages.

Your guide tells you about the history of the vineyard and the families who cultivated it. He also talks with you about their daily work.

At a family winery, you will join a wine tasting (cost not included). Fruit juice is offered to children.

Practical information:

• Bring: hat, sunscreen, rain gear, sports shoes, sunglasses, warm clothing, a bottle of water

The vineyards of La Côte stretch between Morges and Nyon on the north bank of Lake Geneva. Gentle hills and historic wine villages define the landscape of this traditional wine region.

Vines grow here on limestone soils overlooking the lake and the Alps. The region is known for fresh white wines, especially from the Chasselas grape variety.
