Wine Hiking in Lavaux Vineyards for Private Groups

You as a private group go on a walk through the vineyards of Lavaux. A certified guide leads you about two kilometres along the paths through the vineyards and villages.

Your guide shares the history of the vineyard and the families who established it. They also talk about their daily work.

At a family winery, you will participate in a wine tasting (costs not included). For children, fruit juice is available.

The vineyards of Lavaux extend in steep terraces between Lausanne and Montreux along Lake Geneva. Dry stone walls and narrow paths shape the landscape of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

The mild climate and southern exposure create ideal conditions for growing Chasselas. Winemaker villages, terraced houses, and panoramic views of the lake and the Alps make the region particularly charming.

The climate is more continental than by the lake, with warm summers and cool nights. Mainly Pinot Noir, Gamay, and robust white wines are cultivated.
