Description
Combine a trip to the Rigi with relaxing hours at the Mineral Bath & Spa Rigi Kaltbad wellness oasis. You can plan your train ride and spa visit as you wish since your ticket is valid all day—plan at least 3 hours.
Start your journey to the Rigi from Arth-Goldau, Vitznau, Weggis, or Kräbel. You can choose to arrive by cogwheel train or one of the two cable cars. The Mineral Bath & Spa Rigi Kaltbad is located right next to the Rigi Kaltbad First station.
Admission to the mineral bath and travel on the Rigi railways are included with your ticket. Maybe book one of the wonderful massages from the spa menu on-site. Since you have a day pass for the Rigi railways, you can return from the station of your choice.
Useful information:
- Bring your own towel or rent one for 5 CHF at the bath
- Children travel for free but must pay for entrance to the mineral bath
- Children are only allowed to use the mineral bath and steam bath when accompanied by an adult

Immersive Lok-7 Exhibition on Rigi Kulm
The Lok-7 exhibition is located at Rigi Kulm in the former shed at the end of the Rigibahnen tracks. It showcases the historic rack steam locomotive from 1873 in its original shed, bringing its story to life through light, film, and sound. The exhibition offers a compact overview of the development of the Rigi railways and the early tourist exploration of the "Queen of the Mountains." It is open daily and free of charge.

Include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bathrobe and towel. Also the sauna should be bathing suit optional. It would be nice to have some doors on the showers. Our prosecco included with the massage was never offered and we had to ask for it on the way out. The massage person never asked me about my preferred pressure or checked in with me.

It was a fabulous day starting with a boat trip up the lake to Vitznau, then stepping onto the train up to Rigi Kaltbad. The mineral baths were totally relaxing, from the bubble pools to the stunning outdoor views, plus the herbal steam room, mineral pool tranquility and sauna. A truly sensational day.
