Immersive Locomotive 7 Exhibition at Rigi-Kulm
The Lok-7 exhibition is located on Rigi Kulm in the former engine shed at the end of the Rigibahn tracks. It showcases the historic cogwheel steam locomotive from 1873 in its original shed, bringing its story to life through light, film, and sound. The exhibition offers a concise look at the development of the Rigi railways and the early tourist exploration of the "Queen of the Mountains." It is open daily and free of charge.
Swiss Activity Tip
With over 120 km of hiking trails, the Rigi is an ideal starting point for walks and hikes through alpine nature. There are themed trails featuring playgrounds, barbecue spots, and family-friendly restaurants.
The Känzeli viewing platform at Rigi Kaltbad (a 40-minute walk one way, stroller-friendly) offers a spectacular spot for a selfie.
