Zipline at Monte Tamaro

The Zipline at Monte Tamaro starts near the mountain station at Alpe Foppa. You'll receive your safety equipment at the arrival station of the zipline and return it there later.

Once you've got your gear, you'll head about 500 m along a gravel road to the starting point of the zipline. After a short briefing, you'll be secured with a pulley attached to a steel cable and connected with a safety harness.

You'll now zip down for about 400 m at speeds of up to 60 km/h. An automatic braking system ensures a safe stop at the destination. Enjoy the views of the mountains, the Magadino plain, and the area around Bellinzona.
