The Pierre Gianadda Foundation in Martigny was established in 1978 by Léonard Gianadda to honour his brother Pierre. Today, it is one of the most prestigious cultural venues in Switzerland. The institution combines several museums: a Gallo-Roman Museum centered on the remains of an ancient temple, a vintage car museum showcasing around 50 classic cars from 1897 to 1939, and a significant art collection. Additionally, it hosts high-profile temporary exhibitions featuring artists such as Cézanne, Picasso, Matisse, and Renoir, alongside an extensive sculpture park and a diverse concert programme.
