Description
With the Monster Trotti, you and your children enjoy fun riding on wide tires. You travel through the impressive mountain landscape of Meiringen-Hasliberg. This activity combines adventure with nature experience and is perfect for those who love action and panoramic views.
The route takes you from the mountain station down to the valley, passing green meadows with views of majestic peaks. You control the Monster Trotti yourself and set your own pace. The ride is suitable for all ages; helmets are available, and safety is always a priority.
The descent on the 4 km long trail takes approximately 15–20 minutes.
You need a Twing mountain railway ticket to Käserstatt. Alternatively, you can go to Mägisalp first and hike about 20 minutes to Käserstatt.
Mountain railway tickets:
- 2-zone day hiking pass: from Hasliberg Reuti to Mägisalp and from Hasliberg Twing to Käserstatt or
- 2+ zone day hiking pass: from Meiringen to Mägisalp and from Hasliberg Twing to Käserstatt
- Day hiking passes entitle you to unlimited trips within the purchased zones and free travel on PostAuto buses between Hasliberg Reuti and Brünig-Hasliberg
- Children with an SBB Junior or Child travel pass travel free when accompanied by a parent/guardian with a valid, similar travel pass.
- Dogs travel free (except on the Meiringen-Hasliberg Reuti cable car and PostAuto under half-price fare)
Important Information
- Ticket must be exchanged at the ticket office
- Children with a height of 120 cm to 140 cm can use a small Monster Trotti.
- Normal Monster Trotti: from a height of 140 cm
- Minimum age for independent use of the Trotti: 14 years (under supervision of an adult)
- Last departure with Monster Trotti from 4:30 pm
