Description
The passenger ship “Vitzanove” sank during a storm in 1999. It rests at a depth of 94 meters, only about 180 meters from Vitznau. It had space for 60 passengers. When it sank, only two crew members were onboard, who managed to save themselves.
You can clearly see the interior of the ship because the door to the wheelhouse is open. Overall, the ship is still very well preserved.
Practical Information: The diving trips are conducted for 3-4 people per time slot.
- In Vitznau, there are several public parking areas, including the lakeside parking lot and others near the boat pier. However, they are limited, especially in good weather.
Important Information
- Dive trips are available for groups of at least 3 and at most 4 participants
- Remember to bring warm clothing even in summer
- Weight including clothing must be provided for buoyancy calculation
