Iragna Gorge Lower Canyoning for Advanced from the Riviera

This canyoning tour takes you through the Iragna Inferiore in the Riviera region. The gorge is challenging and aimed at sporty participants who enjoy dramatic sections. You'll encounter emerald green pools, light gneiss rock, tall waterfalls, plus many slides and optional jumps.

After ascending along the edge of the gorge, the tour starts right away with a high waterfall. Highlights include a rappel spot up to 40 m and a narrow slide of 15 m. This lets you experience an intense canyon trip with varied water passages.

Practical information:

• Remove jewellery and piercings before the tour
• Avoid wearing cotton fabrics
• Glasses wearers: use contact lenses or a glasses strap, waterproof case

• Hypoallergenic neoprene suit (2-piece; pants and jacket) with hood
• Canyoning shoes and hypoallergenic neoprene socks
• Canyoning harness and two self-locking devices with screwgate carabiners
• Impact-resistant helmet

• Swimwear (swim trunks, swimsuit, bikini)
• Towel
• For the ascent and colder temperatures, or if you usually get cold, you can wear snug functional underwear
• Ski base layers or similar that you can also wear under the wetsuit. IMPORTANT: They should be made of synthetic fibers or merino wool (not cotton, as it cools rather than warms).
• A change of clothes for after the trip
• Any necessary medication for you (asthma spray, allergy meds, etc.)
• Food/drinks for before and after
• Sunscreen (waterproof)

• Sure-footedness required, no fear of heights
