Description
In the ice climbing basic course, you will learn how to handle crampons and ice tools safely. You will practice basic climbing techniques on frozen ice walls and waterfalls. A focus will be on the correct belaying technique to ensure the safety of all participants.
Course contents:
- Equipment knowledge
- Climbing technique using standard movements on ice
- Learning belaying techniques
- Placing ice screws
No prior climbing experience is required for this.
