The funicular goes from Linthal to the mountain station in Braunwald in about seven minutes. The train can carry up to 114 people in one trip.
- Valley station: Linthal (647 m a.s.l.)
- Mountain station: Braunwald (1254 m a.s.l.)
Braunwald is a car-free village and is known as a sun terrace. In the north of the village, you can find the Eggstöcke, which has a three-part via ferrata. In winter, you have access to the snow-safe ski area from Braunwald. The Ortstock, a double summit of the Glarus Alps, is considered the local mountain of Braunwald.

Würde gut funktionieren wen das Lesegerät den QR Code gut lesen könnte. Der Angestellte unten konnte nicht helfen, wir haben dann immer u wieder probiert bis es geklappt hatte. Oben das selbe bei der Retourfahrt, jedoch war bei der Kasse auch eine Schranke bei dieser funktionierte es sofort. Was aber bedingt dass man durchs Kassenareal muss. Es hatte noch andere Fahrgäste die die selbe Problematik hatten.
