Hiking Ticket Dwarfs' Path Käserstatt-Lischen

The Dwarfs' Path Käserstatt-Lischen takes you into the world of Muggestutz, the oldest of the Hasli dwarfs. It leads you on a varied trail over Balisalp, along the wild stream, and to the Bannwald. The trail gradually descends.

Along the way, you'll pass through high moors, alpine meadows, and coniferous forests. Several rest areas invite you to barbecue in the open air.

You wander with your family from Käserstatt to the middle station Lischen, experiencing many lovingly designed dwarf stations along the way, perfect for playing, exploring, and marveling.

The trail is also known as “The House in the Bannwald”. Children will learn many interesting facts about these lovable little creatures. They will visit adventure stations such as moorock dwellings, dwarf houses, cable car, suspension bridge, and wild stream.

The hike is not suitable for strollers, so bring a suitable carrier for small children. At the destination, a large dwarfs' playground awaits your children, adding extra fun.

Travel is easy with the Meiringen-Hasliberg cable cars, allowing you to start your adventure stress-free.

Cable car tickets:

• 2-zone day pass from Hasliberg Twing to Käserstatt
• Day passes allow unlimited travel within the purchased zones, as well as free rides on the postal bus between Hasliberg Reuti and Brünig-Hasliberg
• Children with SBB Junior or children accompanying tickets travel free if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian with an equivalent, valid ticket.
• Dogs travel free (except on the Meiringen-Hasliberg Reuti cable car and postal bus with half-price tickets)

• Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes (walking time only)

• The Dwarfs' Path is not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.
• Walking the trail and using the adventure stations are at your own risk. Liability is declined.

• Ticket must be exchanged at the ticket office
• Dress appropriately: good footwear (hiking or trekking shoes), comfortable clothing
• Bring along: sun and rain protection, a picnic for unterwegs
