1:30 hours hike Dwarfs' Path Käserstatt-Lischen
Cable car (2-zone day pass from Hasliberg Twing to Käserstatt)
The Dwarf Path Käserstatt-Lischen takes you into the world of Muggestutz, the oldest of the Hasli Dwarfs. It leads you on a varied hiking trail across the Balisalp, along the Wildbach, and to the Bannwald forest. You walk on a gently descending path.
Along the way, you pass through high moors, alpine meadows, and pine forests. Several rest areas allow for barbecuing in nature.
You and your family hike from Käserstatt to the mid-station Lischen and encounter many lovingly designed dwarf stations along the way, inviting play, discovery, and wonder.
The trail is also called “The House in the Bannwald”. During the walk, children learn many interesting things about these tiny, lovable creatures. They visit activity stations such as moor caves and dwarf houses, a zip line, hanging bridge, and wild stream.
The hike is not suitable for strollers, so be sure to bring a suitable carrying device for young children. At the end, a large dwarf playground awaits your children, offering extra fun.
Getting there is easy with the Meiringen-Hasliberg cable cars, so you can start your adventure stress-free.
