Description
Your bus journey starts in Lausanne and passes Lake Geneva through the Swiss Alps of Vaud. You go through the Bernese Oberland and reach Interlaken. Next, you travel to Lauterbrunnen and take the cable car up to the Schilthorn. The Schilthorn is also famous for the Piz Gloria revolving restaurant from the James Bond film "On Her Majesty’s Secret Service".
At the Schilthorn, you visit the James Bond exhibition, the viewpoint, and the Thrill Walk at Birg middle station. Afterwards, you will have free time in Interlaken.
Swiss Activities Tip
The revolving restaurant Piz Gloria rotates in two rings and offers more than 400 seats. The restaurant was built for the James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." On one side, you can see the majestic Alps with Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. On the other side, you view Lake Thun and the romantic Swiss Midlands. A full rotation takes 45 minutes.
