After a bus ride of about 45 minutes from Geneva, you arrive in Annecy, France. Annecy is also known as the "Venice of the Alps." On a guided walk through the old town, you'll see colourful markets and pedestrian zones. The town is crossed by the Thiou river and has a romantic atmosphere. Castles, museums, and exhibitions shape the city. Afterwards, you have about 2 hours of free time which you can use for a walk by the lake or a restaurant visit.

Annecy hosts a variety of fascinating festivals and events throughout the year. For example, the Venice Carnival is adapted here. Thanks to the canals running through Annecy, the city has gained the nickname "Venice of the Alps."
